The chemicals industry is committed to the protection of human health and the environment. The American Chemistry Council, European Chemical Industry Council, CropLife America, CropLife Canada, CropLife International and European Crop Protection Association believe that chemicals policy should be based on a thorough, systematic and objective evaluation of current science. They have significant concerns with the World Health Organization-United Nations Environment Programme’s 2012 report, which led them to jointly commission an expert review to provide an independent evaluation of the report and a scientific basis for its conclusions.
